Caseworker (HELP Program)*

Base Salary for 2024: $53,921.00

Residency is Waived

*The Hiring Emergency Limited Placement Program, a.k.a, HELP Program, is a temporary program to promote recruitment in critical health and safety titles that meet certain criteria as outlined by the NYS Department of Civil Service. The titles under the HELP Program are deemed Non-Competitive through June 26, 2024. At that time, employees hired under the HELP Program will be converted to Competitive classification without a competitive test.

Minimum Qualifications:

Non-Competitive Position/HELP Program

A) Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university; or

B) Registered Professional Nursing License and one (1) year full-time paid nursing experience.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENT: (Copy of NYS Driver's License must accompany completed application.) Possession of a valid NYS Driver’s License at time of application and maintained throughout employment or be able to demonstrate the ability to meet the transportation needs of the position.
